Abstract: A detection unit receives an optical signal that has passed through a space to be measured. A spectrum extraction unit extracts a range to be measured from the optical signal received by the detection unit. The spectrum extraction unit extracts an optical signal formed as a gas molecule of a gas to be measured absorbs energy of the optical signal. A determination unit determines the presence of an anomaly in the space to be measured based on a waveform of the optical signal extracted by the spectrum extraction unit.

Abstract: A position detection device includes a transmitter that transmits an optical pulse into an optical transmission line laid along the movement path of a moving body; a detector that detects back-scattered light in the optical transmission line; a data processor that calculates the intensity of the back-scattered light and the generation position of the back-scattered light; a storage in which the processing results of the data processor are saved; a search range derivation circuit that derives a search range for the position of the moving body; a maximum value extraction circuit that extracts the generation position at which the variation of intensity within the search range is at a maximum, and causes the extracted generation position to be saved in the storage; and an output circuit that outputs the extraction result.

Abstract: A receiver comprises: optical signal distributing means for distributing an optical signal transmitted to detect a detection target on a traveling path to two or more paths; a detection unit configured to detect a received light intensity of the optical signal at a first position where the received light intensity increases when the optical axis is shifted and at a second position where the received light intensity decreases; an intensity ratio calculation unit configured to calculate a ratio between the received light intensity at the first position and the second position based on the output of the detection unit; and a determination unit configured to determine whether or not there is an optical axis shift based on a change in the ratio of the received light intensity calculated by the intensity ratio calculation unit.

Abstract: A delay tolerant network is built with the use of a plurality of information transfer devices each of which includes: a communication unit to communicate to and from another device within a communication range that is connected to the information transfer device; and a storing unit to store and keeps collected notification information, and each of which holds delay tolerant communication by exchanging the collected and kept notification information with another device when the exchange becomes possible. Each information transfer device includes a control unit to exchange environment information with another information transfer device, and to execute deriving processing an assigned range that is assigned autonomously to its own information transfer device, based on the environment information that is kept by its own information transfer device, through a planarization search processing in which a value is evened out between its own information transfer device and other information transfer devices.
