Abstract: A vehicle including a door and a ballistic protection device for a door having a ballistic protection element connected to the door via a device for automatically bringing closer and spacing apart the protection element when opening and closing the door, the device for bringing closer and spacing apart include at least one upper connecting arm and at least one lower connecting arm of the same length and hinged to the protection element and the door, so that the protection element and the door can be brought closer to and spaced apart from each other, while remaining parallel to each other, and at least one actuating arm, hinged to the at least one lower connecting arm and to a fixed part of the vehicle, so as to control, by action on the at least one lower connecting arm, the displacement of the protection element with respect to the door.
