Abstract: A housing of a rotating electrical machine has a flow path extending in a rectangular wave shape along a circumferential direction, and including axial paths, and first and second circumferential paths joining first ends and second ends of the axial paths, respectively. The axial path includes joined first and second paths. A cross-section in each of the first and second paths decreases toward the other. A difference between the cross-sections at the first end and at the first circumferential path is not higher than a difference between the cross-sections at the first end and at a third end of the first path close to the second path. A difference between the cross-sections at the second end and at the second circumferential path is not higher than a difference between the cross-sections at the second end and at a fourth end of the second path close to the first path.
