Abstract: A method for wireless communications, comprising: determining at least one performance characteristic associated with a received narrow width beam millimetre wavelength signal; determining at least one performance characteristic associated with a received wide width beam centimetre wavelength signal; determining a signal related event based on the at least one performance characteristic associated with a received narrow width beam millimetre wavelength signal and the at least one performance characteristic associated with a received wide width beam centimetre wavelength signal; and controlling an antenna beam for transmitting and receiving the millimetre wavelength signal based on the signal related event.
