摘要： An alignment substrate includes a substrate and an alignment layer. The substrate includes a plurality of unit pixel areas. Each of the unit pixel areas includes a plurality of sub-pixel areas arranged in a matrix configuration. The alignment layer is on the substrate and has polymer chains protruding from a surface of the alignment layer. The alignment layer has a plurality of alignment vectors in which the polymer chains are pretilted according to the sub-pixel areas. The alignment vectors corresponding to adjacent sub-pixel areas point in different directions from each other.

A plurality of pixels are arranged in a matrix defined by the gate lines and the data lines, and alignment directions of the first alignment layer and the second alignment layer in a first pixel are different than alignment directions in a neighboring pixel.

The pixel electrode includes a first subpixel electrode and a second subpixel electrode separated from each other, and the second subpixel electrode includes a first electrode part disposed above the first subpixel electrode and a second electrode part disposed below the first subpixel electrode and connected to the first electrode part. At least one first notch is arranged on at least one edge of the first subpixel electrode or the second subpixel electrode.

摘要： A lens panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer. The first alignment layer includes a plurality of unit alignment areas forming a lens unit and is aligned to have a first azimuth angle and a plurality of first polarized angles. The first polarized angles vary in the unit alignment area. The second substrate includes a second base substrate, a second electrode formed on the second base substrate, and a second alignment layer aligned to have a second azimuth angle and a second polarized angle. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate.
