摘要： In a focal plane shutter having two curtains which unwind from shafts after being released, the shaft controls a master gear, causing a keying pin on the latter to activate braking action on the curtain at a time interval near the terminal end of running-down movement of the curtain, as a pair of heavy expanding frictional shoes are driven to rotate at accelerated speeds and pressed against the internal surface of a fixed drum by a centrifugal force. During the shutter cocking operation, the key is taken out of connection with the brake so that the driving torque of the film winding shaft is correspondingly decreased.

摘要： A digital camera with five automatic exposure modes is provided with corresponding individual cards upon selective insertion into the camera to effect the operation of either or both of the shutter and diaphragm in accordance with the digital output of a computer through logic selection circuits as the mode information on the inserted card is read into a binary coded decimal counter controlling operation of the logic circuits. When the card is absent from the camera, a first controlling push button for sequential display of the modes is rendered effective to pass a pulse train to the counter so that upon release of the button, the current mode displayed can be set. The card further includes information relating to the determination of whether or not to give a sound warning signal which occurs, in one embodiment, when the film nears the terminal end of footage. In another embodiment, the buzzer is utilized to assist in releasing not only a first but also an additional three buttons for setting exposure factors and a number of film frames available just after a desired symbol or digital value appears in the display as they are sequentially presented.

摘要： A motor drive unit adapted for use with a camera having a motorized shutter speed adjusting device. When a continuous series of frame exposures are to be made at a predetermined frame frequency, the set value of shutter time in the camera is made to be compared with the longest possible shutter time dependent upon that frame frequency by a comparator provided in the motor drive unit. When the actual shutter time value exceeds the longest possible one, the motorized shutter speed adjusting device is actuated, causing the shutter time value to change itself to the longest possible value.

摘要： In the camera disclosed, an electromagnetic actuator is responsive to a timing pulse of short duration from an exposure control circuit for controlling the closing movement of a shutter. A permanent magnet may accidently be left latched and hold the rear curtain in cocked position after the timing pulse because of possible damage to an electromagnetic control circuit as a result of a battery short circuit. This may cause the film to fog during subsequent winding or rewinding. To prevent this, an indicator produces a visible indication either in the field of view of the camera finder or, in the case of remote shutter operation, outside the camera housing, that the rear curtain must be manually unlatched.

摘要： A camera having a control system for coordinating the release actuator and electronic shutter with either one of a battery and an electric generator incorporated therein. As the battery has lost electrical energy, the removal of the battery from the camera enables the coordinating system to restrict the manual setting of an exposure time within faster limits and to supply electrical power from the generator to at least that portion of the automatic exposure control circuit which contributes to manual exposure control during the second stroke of the shutter release button, provided that the necessary mechanical energy for driving the generator was created and stored on suitable means during the preceding cycle of film winding operation.

A constant voltage circuit is connected across the magnetic winding, or between the power supply terminal of the magnetic winding and a basic potential to ensure that the response of the armature of the actuating device to the output of a timing circuit is stabilized despite variation in the voltage of an electrical power source.
