Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for handover control are disclosed. Handover information reports are received from user equipment and a qualitative handover information report for input to a handover optimizer function is generated on the reports. The generating includes mapping failure cause information in the received handover information reports to sets of qualified failure types based on the extend of the failure causes. The qualitative handover information report including information of the generated sets of qualified failure types is signalled to the handover optimizer function. At least one handover parameter can be controlled based on the aggregated information of the sets of qualified failure types.
