    Abstract: A method and apparatus may include detecting a handover that is requested by a user equipment. The user equipment moves from a first area of a first mobile-edge-computing server to a second area of a second mobile-edge-computing server. The method may also include determining whether the user equipment has an ongoing application session with the first mobile-edge-computing server. The method may also include determining whether the ongoing application session should be moved from the first mobile-edge-computing server to the second mobile-edge-computing server, if the user equipment has been determined to have an ongoing application session. The method may also include moving the ongoing application session from the first mobile-edge-computing server to the second mobile-edge-computing server, if the application session has been determined to be moved.

    Abstract: There are provided measures for improved service continuity with mobile edge computing. Such measures exemplarily comprise detecting a handover of a communication endpoint from a first gateway to a second gateway, determining, whether an ongoing mobile edge computing related application session of said communication endpoint is routed by said first gateway, checking, upon positive result of said determining, whether said ongoing mobile edge computing related application session fulfills a predetermined condition, and initiating, upon positive result of said checking, a swap of said ongoing mobile edge computing related application session from said first gateway and a first mobile edge computing entity connected to said first gateway to said second gateway and a second mobile edge computing entity connected to said second gateway.

    Abstract: This document discloses a solution for detecting and mitigating anomalies such as signalling storms in a radio access network of a wireless communication system. According to an aspect, there is disclosed a method including receiving, in a first local traffic analysis module, configuration parameters from a second local traffic analysis module or from a central traffic analysis module connected to a plurality of local traffic analysis modules; monitoring, by a first traffic analysis module by using the received configuration parameters, traffic in a radio access network of a wireless communication system; detecting, in the monitored traffic on the basis of the configuration parameters, an anomaly causing a control plane signalling load; and in response to said detecting, taking an action to mitigate the anomaly and reporting information on the anomaly to the central traffic analysis module.
