摘要： A display device of an electronic apparatus according to the present invention is a display device of an electronic apparatus for setting a plurality of conditions for a process of the electronic apparatus through an input portion 57 while displaying the conditions before the electronic apparatus performs the process in accordance with the conditions. The device comprises a determination portion 58 of determining whether or not each of the conditions has not yet been set, and a liquid crystal display panel 41 of displaying notifying information indicating to what degree conditions remain to be set. The liquid crystal display panel 41 displays buttons for setting the respective conditions on a screen thereof, and displays button(s) which have already been pressed as being unfilled and the number of buttons which have not yet been pressed. Therefore, by viewing the screen, the number and types of conditions which have not yet set can be known.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, a paper transport unit, and a control unit for supplying the image forming unit with image data for a plurality of pages so that the image forming unit forms images page by page on sheets transported by the paper transport unit, wherein, when the image data for each page includes data representative of blanks on a leading end side and on a tail end side of the page in a paper transport direction, the control unit deletes the data representative of the blank either on the leading end side or on the tail end side from the image data prior to supplying the image forming unit with the image data, and controls the paper transport unit so that a plurality of sheets are transported sequentially to the image formation unit in a multiple state in which one sheet partially overlaps with another in the paper transport direction by a length corresponding to the deleted data representative of the blank.

摘要： In an image forming apparatus that uses an intermediate transfer system are provided a paper supply portion that stores a sheet of paper on which image forming is carried out, an image forming system that carries out image forming on the sheet of paper transported from the paper supply portion, and a detection portion that detects the number of sheets of paper stored in the paper supply portion, and image writing for carrying out image forming onto the sheet of paper is carried out in the image forming system before the sheet of paper stored in the paper supply portion is transported to the image forming system. In the image forming apparatus, upon detecting with the detection portion that the number of sheets of paper stored in the paper supply portion is not more than a preset number of sheets excluding zero sheets, an image writing sequence in the image forming system is changed in response to the detection in order to avoid development by developer. Furthermore, a plurality of image forming portions are provided in the image forming system and the image forming portion or portions to be used is selected depending on a specified printing mode, and the change in the image writing sequence is carried out depending on the printing mode.

摘要： An apparatus for providing a flat panel display device such as a liquid crystal display device, which allows a liquid crystal panel supported by a supporting member to be easily attached to a device by means of automation. According to this flat panel display, a recess 24a is formed in a thick part 24. A flexible interconnection board 16 is introduced into the recess 24a via an opening recess 24b. The part of the flexible interconnection board 16 introduced in the recess 24a is reinforced by a stiffener 18 adhesively bonded to the flexible interconnection board 16. The stiffener 18 is firmly attached to the bottom face of the recess 24 via fixing means 25. A rubber connector is adhesively bonded to the surface, opposite to the adhesive surface to which the stiffener 18 is bonded, of the flexible interconnection board 16. The rubber connector 19 is formed of an elastic base member 19a made of synthetic rubber or the like and a large number of conductive wires 19b extending through the elastic base member 19a in a direction from the front to back sides of the elastic base member 19a.
