Abstract: An electronic circuit adapted to drive a display panel including a plurality of fingerprint sensing lines is provided. The electronic circuit includes a fingerprint sensing circuit. The fingerprint sensing circuit is configured to receive a fingerprint sensing signal corresponding to a fingerprint image from the fingerprint sensing lines. The fingerprint sensing signal includes a plurality of fingerprint image segments. The fingerprint sensing circuit rearranges the fingerprint image segments to generate the fingerprint image according to an order of the fingerprint sensing lines. In addition, a method for generating a fingerprint image is also provided.
