摘要: The blade of a surgical knife of the present invention is formed by subjecting a single-crystal silicon wafer in which the orientation of the polished surface is or to crystal anisotropic etching. The blade has an edge as a higher-order surface of crystal anisotropic etching, and the edge slopes at a sharp angle in relation to the polished surface. Therefore, the surgical knife of the present invention which is made of single-crystal silicon, has good sharpness, reduces variability in sharpness quality, has high productivity at low cost, and is practical.

摘要: An ultrasonic Doppler diagnosis apparatus sets first and second rasters on a single blood stream. Those rasters originate from a single ultrasonic beam origin and extend in two different directions. An electronic sector scanner sets sample volumes of substantially equal depths as measured from the surface of a human body, on those rasters. A Doppler signal detector detects two types of Doppler shift signals corresponding to the sample volumes. An angle calculating circuit calculates an angle .theta. by using the coordinates data of the sample volumes, and obtains the information on the velocity of blood stream.

摘要: In an ultrasonic examination apparatus of the sector scanning type, a false contour appears in a tomographic image of an object due to a variation of the pixelizing, or digitizing precision over the entire scanning region, especially near the central ultrasonic scanning lines. A wobbling processor is provided in an address generator for write operation. When the echo signals, or the image signals obtained by the scanning of the central untrasonic scanning lines are written into pixels of a frame memory, the write-in addresses are processed by the wobbling processor so that the pixelizing precision can be made relatively uniform over the entire scanning region.

摘要: By transmitting ultrasonic waves along a section of an object under examination, brightness modulating reflected ultrasonic waves from respective points in the section to obtain a B-mode tomography image, and displaying Doppler shifted frequencies of the reflected ultrasonic waves from the respective points in the tomography image in colors, a Doppler flow mapping image indicating blood flow two-dimensionally can be obtained. Also, by transmitting ultrasonic waves many times only in the direction of a desired observation point and analyzing the spectrum of Doppler shifted frequencies of reflected ultrasonic waves from the observation point, a blood flow pattern waveform indicating time-varying blood flow velocity can be obtained. In an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which transmits ultrasonic waves repeatedly to a subject under examination at regular intervals and detecting Doppler shifts of reflected ultrasonic waves to obtain the Doppler flow mapping image and the blood flow pattern waveform, by transmitting ultrasonic waves alternately in the direction needed to prepare the Doppler flow mapping image and in the direction needed to prepare the blood flow pattern waveform at each time of transmission of ultrasonic waves, the Doppler flow mapping image and the blood flow pattern waveform can be displayed simultaneously while improving detectable low velocity in the Doppler flow mapping image without degrading aliasing velocity in the blood flow pattern waveform.

摘要: An ultrasonic diagnosing apparatus is disclosed which performs transmission/reception of an ultrasonic wave with respect to an object by using an ultrasonic transducer, detects a Doppler shift signal from a reception signal, and displays ultrasonic data based on the data obtained by frequency-analyzing the Doppler shift signal. The apparatus includes a control section. The control section controls at least a transmitter/receiver so as to sequentially scan a plurality of ultrasonic beam scanning lines as a group. In addition, the control section performs group scanning by sequentially changing the ultrasonic beam scanning lines selected as the group while repeating sequential scanning within the group, thus performing beam scanning of the entire scanning region, thereby decreasing the sampling frequency for Doppler data without changing the pulse repetition frequency, and scanning in the scanning order of the ultrasonic beam with respect to the group, said scanning order corresponding to the group scanning direction of the ultrasonic beam scanning lines selected as the group.
