Abstract: An image processing device includes: a reading unit that reads an image, image identification information (image ID), and medium identification information (medium ID) from the removable medium; a transmitting unit that transmits, to a server, the image ID and the medium ID that have been read by the reading unit; a receiving unit that receives, from the server, the patient information that corresponds to the image ID and the medium ID that have been transmitted by the transmitting unit, or information indicating no existing corresponding patient information; and a display control unit that displays, on a display device, the image read by the reading unit and the patient information received by the receiving unit, or the image read by the reading unit.
