Abstract: A high frequency treatment instrument can be opened and closed between a first grasping jaw and a second grasping jaw. A lumen is formed inside the first grasping jaw. The first grasping jaw includes an electrode disposed on a side toward which the first gasping jaw is closed, with respect to the lumen. The electrode has an electrode surface arranged opposite the second grasping jaw and extending from a proximal end portion to a distal end portion of the first grasping jaw. The first grasping jaw has a distal end wall disposed opposing from a distal end side of the first grasping jaw toward a distal end edge of the electrode surface, and a clearance between the distal end edge of the electrode surface and the distal end wall communicates to the lumen and opens toward the side toward which the first grasping jaw is closed.

Abstract: A liquid feed conduit and a suction conduit extends in a hollow portion from a probe proximal portion direction to a probe distal portion direction in an inside of a probe, and an ejection port of the liquid feed conduit and a suction port of the suction conduit are located in the hollow portion. A collision surface is provided in the probe to be opposed to at least a part of the ejection port, and the collision surface is located on the probe distal portion direction side with respect to the suction port and the ejection port. At least part of a liquid ejected from the ejection port collides with the collision surface in the hollow portion.

Abstract: A grasping treatment instrument can be opened and closed between a first grasping jaw and a second grasping jaw. The first grasping jaw includes, on its outer front surface, a grasping surface opposing the second grasping jaw, a back surface facing an opposite side to the grasping surface, and inclined surfaces arranged extending from a side of the back surface toward a side of the grasping surface as the inclined surfaces become away from a central position in a width direction, and are inclined relative to the back surface. In the first grasping jaw, a liquid is supplied from a liquid inlet portion onto the inclined surfaces by way of the back surface, and the liquid flows out from the inclined surfaces toward the side of the grasping surface.
