The disintegrated material is discharged through i upstream of the filter, and objects the machine h cannot break can be cleared from time to time through a shaft k. In modifications the screen may be flat and be disposed obliquely to the direction of the flow and the comminutor may discharge the disintegrated material downstream of the screen.
