Abstract: A projectile and method for stopping aerial vehicles. The projectile comprises a shell—and a bunch of filaments. The bunch is wound in a coil and placed inside the shell. The projectile according to the solution may be brought to a target by different methods and utilising different means. For example, the projectile may be fired with compressed air or a propulsion charge, by using a compressed air weapon or rocket launcher. In addition, the projectile may be taken to the target by using a rocket or aerial vehicle.
