Abstract: A container (400) for consumer goods is provided, the container (400) comprising a box portion (402) and a lid portion (408) depending along a hinge line from a top edge of the box portion (402). An inner frame (300) is slidably received within the box portion (402), the inner frame (300) comprising an inner frame front panel (12), and first and second inner frame side panels (18) each depending along an inner frame side panel fold line (20) from first and second inner frame front panel side edges respectively. Each of the first and second inner frame side panels (18) comprises a back edge spaced apart from the respective inner frame side panel fold line (20). The inner frame (300) further comprises first and second inner frame back panels (26) each depending along a respective inner frame back panel fold line (28) from the first and second inner frame side panels (18) respectively, wherein the first and second inner frame back panels (26) form at least part of an inner frame back wall (302). A distance between each of the inner frame back panel fold lines (28) and the respective inner frame side panel fold line (20) is less than a maximum width of the respective inner frame side panel (18) between the inner frame side panel fold line (20) and the inner frame side panel back edge so that the minimum spacing between the inner frame front panel (12) and the inner frame back wall (302) is less than the maximum width of each inner frame side panel (18). A portion (308) of the inner frame back wall (302) is connected to the lid portion (408) so that, when the lid portion (408) is moved about the hinge line, the inner frame (300) slides within the box portion (402).

Abstract: There is provided a container (10) for consumer goods, the container (10) comprising an outer housing comprising a box portion (12) and a lid portion (14) depending from the box portion (12) along a hinge line. The container (10) further comprises a plurality of consumer goods (18) received within the box portion (12) and an inner frame (16) slidably received within the outer housing. The inner frame (16) comprises an inner frame front wall (22) underlying a box portion front wall (17) and a tab portion (28) positioned between a box portion bottom wall and an end of each of a selection of the consumer goods, the tab portion (28) depending along a first weakening zone (30) from the inner frame front wall (22). The tab portion (28) is arranged so that sliding the inner frame (16) away from a box portion bottom wall engages the tab portion (28) with the selection of consumer goods and lifts them away from the box portion bottom wall. An inner wrapper (20) is wrapped around the consumer goods (18), the inner wrapper (20) comprising an aperture (48) underlying the selection of consumer goods and overlying the inner frame tab portion (28).

Abstract: A container for consumer articles comprises a box for housing the consumer articles. The box comprises a box front wall, a box back wall and a box top wall. A lid is defined by separation lines in the box front wall and in the box top wall, such that the lid is at least partly separable from the remainder of the box, wherein upon separation from the remainder of the box the lid is pivotable about a hinge line between an open position in which consumer goods can be removed from the container through an access opening of the container and a closed position in which the interior of the container is inaccessible.
