    Abstract: A cable access terminal includes: a base; a moving portion attached to the base; and a cover that is configured to prevent access to an upper area of the moving portion. The moving portion may be configured to prevent access to a base area in a closed position; the cover may be configured to prevent access to a first side of an adapter as a result of the cover being secured to the moving portion; and the moving portion may be structurally configured to permit access to the first side of the adapter and to the base area when the fastener is removed and to prevent access to the first side of the adapter and to the base area, while permitting access to the second side of the adapter, when the fastener is in place, so as to provide only limited access to users unauthorized to access the base area.
