Abstract: A terminal includes: a receiver, which, in operation, receives a plurality of data signals that is spatially multiplexed, the plurality of data signals being transmitted from a small-cell base station disposed in an area covered by a macro-cell base station; an estimator, which, in operation, estimates power of a signal from the macro-cell base station as interfering-signal power; and a signal separator, which, in operation, generates a reception weight based on the interfering-signal power and separates the plurality of data signals from each other based on the reception weight.
