Abstract: An imaging device of the present disclosure includes: a communication unit that connects via a communication network to a provision server that provides a trained model used for image capturing; a connection unit that connects to a storage and outputs data to the storage; and a controller. The storage stores the trained model. The controller transmits photographing-related information obtained in association with image capturing to the provision server via the communication unit at a predetermined timing; and the controller stores, in the storage, a new trained model transmitted from the provision server in response to the photographing-related information.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes: an image sensor that captures a subject image formed via an optical system to generate image data; a controller that controls an autofocus operation to focus the optical system; and an image recognizer that identifies, based on the image data, information including a class of a subject in an image shown by the image data, wherein the controller acquires the information identified by the image recognizer to automatically set a parameter indicating characteristics of the autofocus operation, based on a tendency to be estimated as possibility for the subject of the identified class to move on the image.

Abstract: An image tracking apparatus, which tracks a subject in a moving image, comprising: an image acquisition device that acquires image data indicating the moving image; a first detector that detects a first area of a subject in acquired image data to track the first area in the moving image; a second detector that detects a second area of a subject in the image data to track the second area in the moving image; and a controller that tracks the subject by switching between a tracking result of the first detector and a tracking result of the second detector. The first and the second detector operate independently. The controller tracks the subject using the tracking result of the first detector when the first area is tracked, and tracks the subject using the tracking result of the second detector when the first area is not tracked and the second area is tracked.
