Abstract: A camera control apparatus of the present disclosure includes an interface and a controller. The interface receives first image data generated by a first camera performing image capturing, second image data generated by a second camera performing image capturing, and altitude information relating to altitude, the altitude information being output by an altitude sensor, and transmits a drive signal to a first actuator capable of changing an image capturing direction of the first camera and to a second actuator capable of changing an image capturing direction of the second camera. The controller outputs the drive signal driving at least one of the first actuator and the second actuator to the interface so that an image capturing region of composite image data in which the first image data and the second image data are combined is narrower when the altitude indicated by the altitude information is lower.

Abstract: A video management apparatus includes a video database for holding a plurality of pieces of video information each associated with an image position, a geographic information database for holding a plurality of pieces of geographic information each indicating a position of a different one of spots on a map, and a controller. The controller extracts spots located within a first range from a current position as a first spot group, based on the current position and the plurality of pieces of geographic information. Further, the controller extracts spots located within a second range from the image position as a second spot group, based on the image position and the plurality of pieces of geographic information. Then, the controller selects video information from the plurality of pieces of video information, based on a similarity degree of the second spot group with respect to the first spot group.

Abstract: A symbol input method performed by a symbol input device having a display unit, a selector, and a determiner includes: displaying, by the display unit, a correspondence table indicating correspondences between input target symbols and selection target symbols and indicating that each of the input target symbols corresponds to one or more selection target symbols; ending the displaying by the display unit; prompting, by the selector, after the ending, a user to select one of the selection target symbols included in the displayed correspondence table; and determining, by the determiner, one input target symbol as a symbol to be input. The input target symbol is indicated in the displayed correspondence table and corresponds to the selection target symbol selected by the user in the prompting.

Abstract: An image processing device for generating a single image based on a plurality of images captured by a plurality of imaging devices having different pointing directions from each other includes a memory and a controller. The memory is configured to store information containing at least the pointing directions and fields of view of the plurality of imaging devices. The controller is configured to operate as follows: to acquire or generate, from the plurality of images, first image data and second image data whose imaging ranges do not overlap; to apply image processing to the first image data and the second image data in such a manner that the first image data and the second image data have angular ranges larger than the fields of view in at least one direction; and to generate a single piece of multi-directional image data containing the image-processed first image data and second image data.
