Abstract: A person counting area setting method includes displaying a captured image of an imaging area captured by a camera device on a display, generating an image of a person counting area for counting the number of one or more persons who pass through a gate pictured on the captured image displayed on the display and displaying the generated image on the display such that the generated image is superimposed on the captured image based on a first parameter indicating a position of the gate in a case where the first parameter is input, and transmitting the information regarding the person counting area to the camera device and setting the transmitted information for the camera device.
