Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to network management and discovery. In an embodiment, the present invention is a method of detecting and/or managing devices in a Device Level Ring (DLR) network. The method allows a user to obtain a visual representation of a logical ring of a DLR network, accurately and effectively illustrating the presence of physical links between network participants.
