摘要： Cigarettes which yield low levels of visible sidestream smoke upon use employ a paper wrapping material having about 25 weight percent magnesium hydroxide, about 15 weight percent calcium carbonate and about 60 weight percent flax. The wrapping material has an inherent permeability of about 12 CORESTA units and a net permeability of about 100 to about 130 CORESTA units. The wrapping material containing an amount of water soluble alkali metal salt sufficient to provide at least about 35 mg water soluble alkali metal ions per gram of dry base web. The alkali metal salt is such that the wrapping material includes a significantly greater level of potassium ions than sodium ions. the cigarettes, when employed, provide cohesive ash which is not highly flakey.

An inspector can further input the expected operations into the state machine model and compare the expected, or declared, processes to the actual processes to identify undeclared processes at the facility. The state machine analysis enables the generation of knowledge about the state of the facility at all levels, from location of physical objects to complex operational concepts. Therefore, the state machine method and apparatus may benefit any agency or business with sensored facilities that stores or manipulates expensive, dangerous, or controlled materials or information.

摘要： A system and method are disclosed for creating an interactive web page. A plurality of objects are defined which are configured to have associated states. The associated states include a visible state and a hidden state. An object in the visible state is displayed and an object in the hidden state is not displayed. Subsets of objects are associated together in structures so that the state of any object within the structure is dependent on the states of other objects within the structure. The plurality of objects and the structures are placed into an hierarchy in a way which causes certain objects and structures in the hierarchy to be layered on top of other objects and structures in the hierarchy. Behaviors are associated with the objects, and each behavior includes an associated event, an associated action, and an associated target object. Each behavior is arranged so that when the associated event occurs, the associated action is performed on the associated target object. The performance of the action on the target object changes the state of the target object, and the change of state of the target object is a second event. An event processor is provided which is configured to process the events as they occur and adjust the states of the objects according to the events and according to the behaviors associated with the objects so that the objects are displayed or hidden on the web page as events occur.

摘要： A platform support device for temporary attachment to a vertical side of a structure, e.g. for supporting planks on which a tradesman can stand while installing soffit, has an elongate upright member with an attachment portion at an upper end of the upright member. 摘要： An alkali metal-containing spent liquor is treated to recover the alkali metal content for reuse without the need for recycling furnace ash and forming solid pellets therefrom. A mixture of aluminum hydrate and alkali metal-containing waste liquor is directed through a heated furnace and dried to form granules of the aluminum hydrate and waste liquor solids, and the organic content of the granules are combusted and reacted to form granular alkali metal aluminate furnace ash. The granular furnace ash is removed from the furnace and treated to recover the alkali metal and to produce aluminum hydrate for reuse in the process.
