    摘要: A car seat is formed with a seat member pivotally connected to a base member for positional adjustment in desired reclined positions controlled by an intuitively operable adjustment mechanism. The seat back is pivotally connected to the seat member to be oriented in a shipping position or an operative position. A latching mechanism secures the seat back to the seat member in the operative position. The seat back is provided with a head rest that is vertically movable relative to the seat back to uncover routing openings in the seat back as the child grows and the head rest is positioned accordingly. The harness is routed through selected routing openings in the seat back before passing over a hanger at the top of the seat back so that the length of the harness remains constant irrespective of the positioning of the harness in conjunction with the size of the child.

    摘要: The apparatus is a child's stroller that maintains all the wheels on the ground while it is being folded. The rear legs are interconnected with but separated from the armrests and move on circular paths, the centers of which are pivot points on the armrests. Therefore, the tops of the rear legs move around to a height different from the position of the front leg pivot point, and the location of the tops of the rear legs are determined by the position of the attached wheels rather by the pivot point of the front legs. Another linkage lowers the canopy support frame as the stroller is being folded in order to reduce the stroller's overall folded length.

    摘要: A frame apparatus for a child's swing includes a pair of curved rear legs extending upwardly and forwardly to terminate in a pair of transversely spaced hanger housings that are positioned in a cantilevered manner from a support provided by a corresponding pair of curved front legs that extend upwardly and rearwardly to connect to mounting housings supported at a mid-point on the rear legs. The frame apparatus provides an open top, open side frame configuration for unrestricted access to and viewing of the seat. The front legs and the seat hangers can be detached from the rear legs to provide a compact storage and transport configuration for the swing. One of the mounting housings contains the battery array for the electric motor powering the swinging motion of the seat to position the batteries below and remotely from the seat. The frame members are oval-shaped to increase operating strength.

    摘要: A battery compartment is supported on the frame apparatus of a child's swing at a location that is remote from the electric motor powering the operative movement of the seat assembly. The battery compartment is located within a mounting housing mounted on a rear leg of the frame assembly where a corresponding front leg is detachably connected to the rear leg. The battery array housed in the battery compartment is connected to the remote electric motor by wiring positioned within the interior of the rear leg interconnecting the mounting housing in which the battery compartment is located and the housing in which the electric motor is located. The battery compartment is positioned below the top surface of the seat member in which an infant would be positioned and rearwardly of the seat member due to the curved configuration of the rear legs of the frame assembly.
