摘要： In accordance with one embodiment, an electrochemical cell includes a negative electrode including a form of lithium, a positive electrode spaced apart from the negative electrode and configured to use a form of oxygen and carbon dioxide as reagents in a reversible electrochemical reaction wherein Li2CO3 is formed and consumed at the positive electrode, a separator positioned between the negative electrode and the positive electrode, and an electrolyte including a salt.
