摘要： The invention relates to a process for the preparation of monoaminoanthraquinones of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is a non-ionic substituent and n is 0, 1, 2 or 3, by reduction of corresponding mononitroanthraquinones, which process comprises reacting said mononitroanthraquinones with formaldehyde, in the presence of a base and a catalyst, in an aqueous alcoholic solution.
