    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for providing mobility to a mobile node capable packet based communication within a communications system via an access point. The method uses a signed session information package for allowing the mobile node to provide a further access point with information relating to the routing of a communications session so that the first access point can be used as an anchor point for the communications session even if the mobile node has changed its point of access to a further access point, wherein the communications session is a communications session between the mobile node and a corresponding node within a communications system. The signed session information package comprises routing information relating to the communications session and is signed by the first access point which is the access point via which the mobile node was communicating at the time of initiation of the communications session.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for allocating a value of a parameter to a client host by an access point in a communications system comprising an IP network, where the parameter value has previously been assigned to the same client host by a first parameter-value assigning node. The method includes using a DHCP message to carry a signed information package from the first parameter-value-assigning node to the access point via the client host. The signed information package comprises information on a preferred value of the parameter and a signature of the first parameter-value-assigning node. The signature can be verified by the access node, and if true, and if the preferred value is available for allocation, the access node will allocate the preferred value of the parameter to the client host.
