    摘要： A lifting element for a drum of a grinding mill to be used for grinding of ores and minerals, said lifting element being attached to a frame of the drum and extending in the longitudinal direction of the drum, and said lifting element comprising a flexible body and a wear protection located in the leading edge of the body with respect to the direction of rotation of the drum. The wear protection consists of at least two different parts, said parts being manufactured of different materials having toughness and hardness different from each other.

    摘要： A wear resistant lining element for a rotary grinding mill. The element, which is made of elastomeric material, is provided on its leading side with respect to rotation with a hard wear layer made, for example, of steel. The hard wear layer is backed and supported by the elastomeric material of the element to which it is secured by chemical and/or mechanical bonding. With this arrangement, the elastomeric component cushions the hard wear layer and provides damping during grinding impact and minimizes cracking of the hard layer and scrap loss.
