摘要： Magnetic recording media in which, following application of the magnetic dispersion to a web of tape base material, the magnetic particles are oriented in a preferred direction and the magnetic dispersion is dried to fix the magnetic particles in their oriented position. To assist the orienting action of the orientation magnet, a blanket is located between the latter and the coating device, which blanket is caused to make sliding contact with the applied magnetic layer.
