摘要： A rear projection television receiver includes an arrangement for detecting impending light source failure. The arrangement detects an electrical parameter of the ligth source and compares this detected parameter with a predetermined threshold level. When the detected parameter exceeds this threshold level, the arrangement advises the user to replace the light source.
