摘要： A package or container is disclosed that includes an opening device in conjunction with a self-sealing valve for facilitating opening of the package and for dispensing fluids in a controlled manner. In one embodiment, the opening device can comprise a breachable bubble. The breachable bubble can be in communication with a fluid channel that operates in conjunction with the self-sealing valve. The package can include a folded portion for sealing the fluid channel and allowing the bubble to be breached when a user applies pressure. Once the bubble is breached, the folded portion can be unfolded for dispensing a fluid.

摘要： A rigid holding container has a flexible cover sheet extending over the holding area for sealing the contents. The container has a wide, flat perimeter lip which provides a firm base for the seal between the cover sheet and the container. A breaching bubble is formed in the seal, under the cover and over the perimeter lip. The consumer breaches the bubble by pressing the bubble against the lip between the thumb and forefinger. The pressure compresses the air in the bubble causing the bubble to expand laterally. The expanding bubble breaches along the perimeter of the lip, producing a peel flap of flexible cover material. The consumer pulls the peel flap while holding the rigid container down, to remove the cover sheet.

摘要： Apparatus 10 has breachable flow conduit 12 for discharging stored fluid 12F contained in storage chamber 10C out to the ambient. Chamber access region 10R is positioned proximate perimeter 10P of the apparatus. The breachable flow conduit is within the access region, and has an inner end 12C proximate the storage chamber and an outer end 12P proximate the perimeter of the apparatus. The flow conduit has outer pressed seal 14P between the outer end of the flow conduit and the perimeter of the apparatus. The flow conduit also has inner pressed seal 14C between the inner end of the flow conduit and the edge of the storage chamber. The flow conduit expands towards the perimeter of the apparatus under external pressure, typically applied by the consumer. The pressure causes the flow conduit to breach at the perimeter of the apparatus. The flow conduit also expands towards the storage chamber. The pressure causes the flow conduit to breach at the edge of the storage chamber. Breached flow conduit 13B establishes fluid communication between the storage chamber and the ambient for discharge of the stored fluid.
