Abstract: A transportable carbon dioxide capture device includes a container configured to be attached to a vehicle. The container includes an air intake in fluid communication with ambient air. There is a carbon dioxide sorbent positioned within the container, a carbon dioxide compressor positioned within the container and in fluid communication with the carbon dioxide sorbent, and a carbon dioxide storage container positioned within the container and in fluid communication with the carbon dioxide compressor.
