摘要: A single pole module of a circuit breaker is disclosed. The housing includes a first portion and a second portion, and an interior wall separating the first portion from the second portion. The first portion includes a first section receiving a circuit board and a second section receiving a lever mechanism. The second portion includes a first section receiving an electromagnetic protection device, a second section receiving an arc extinguishing device, a third section receiving a thermal protection device, and a fourth section receiving an operating mechanism. The first and second sections of the first portion occupy substantially half of the housing and the first, second, third and fourth sections of the second portion occupy substantially half of the housing and the second section of the first portion and the third section of the second portion are opposite each other.

摘要: An interface module is configured for transmitting a status change signal between a first circuit device that has a first circuit device couple and a second circuit device that has a second circuit device couple. The interface module may include a housing, a first coupling assembly that includes a first couple arm and a second coupling assembly that includes a second couple arm. Each of the first and second couple arms extends through the housing at a location that is spaced from the other and each of the first and second coupling assemblies is movable by the first circuit device couple and/or the second circuit device couple to transmit a status change signal there between.

摘要: A single-module circuit breaker includes a first longitudinal portion, a second longitudinal portion, and a third longitudinal portion proximate the first and second longitudinal portions. The first longitudinal portion includes overcurrent detection componentry configured to detect an overcurrent condition. The second longitudinal portion includes leakage current detection componentry configured to detect a leakage current condition. The third longitudinal portion includes a contact mechanism, a first conduction path, and a second conduction path, and the contact mechanism is configured to disrupt the first and second conduction paths in response to at least one of the overcurrent condition and the leakage current condition.

摘要: A circuit breaker is disclosed. The circuit breaker has a single pole module housing having a 1 W width with a first conduction path and a second conduction path disposed within the single pole module housing. The first and second conduction paths are electrically isolated from each other via an interior wall of the single pole module housing. A first activation mechanism is in operable communication with the first conduction path and a second activation mechanism is in operable communication with the second conduction path. The first activation mechanism is in operable communication with the first conduction path independent of the second activation mechanism and the second conduction path. The second activation mechanism is in operable communication with the second conduction path independent of the first activation mechanism and the first conduction path.
