Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described that provide for aligning a starting time of a cell-based discontinuous transmission (DTX) and/or discontinuous reception (DRX) mode between a network entity and one or more user equipment (UE) within the serving cell associated with the network entity. The aligning may be accomplished via coordinated signaling. For example, the network may configure a periodic interval for transmitting information related to a discontinuous operation mode in group common downlink control information (GC DCI) messages. In some additional examples, the periodic interval may allow for beam sweeping of the GC DCI messages and efficient cell-based activation or deactivation of the discontinuous operation mode.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain configuration information associated with a sidelink communication, the configuration information indicating that each physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resource of a plurality of PSFCH resources associated with a carrier aggregation operation is to have a same time domain location across all component carriers of a plurality of component carriers, and indicating that each bandwidth part of a plurality of bandwidth parts associated with the carrier aggregation operation is to be configured with a same sidelink symbol length and a same sidelink start symbol. The UE may transmit or receive a sidelink communication in accordance with the configuration information. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for improving time division duplexing (TDD) downlink-uplink configuration for new radio (NR) operation with large timing advancements (TAs). An example method by a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting, to a network entity, an indication of a timing advance (TA) value; receiving, from the network entity, information indicating a set of downlink slots of a time division duplexing (TDD) pattern that is dynamically restricted from being scheduled for the UE, wherein the set of downlink slots is based on the TA value; and receiving, from the network entity, downlink transmissions in downlink slots of the TDD pattern except in downlink slots included in the set of downlink slots.

Abstract: A UE receives, from a network entity, an allocation of resources for a sidelink transmission, the allocation of resources including an indication of a destination identifier (ID). The UE transmits the sidelink transmission to a second UE based on the allocation of resources for the sidelink transmission and the destination ID associated with the second UE. A UE receives, from a first UE, a request to form a connection for sidelink communication. The UE measures at least one colliding sidelink transmission from at least one additional UE interfering with a sidelink transmission from the first UE and transmits, to a network entity, a sidelink collision report indicating the measured at least one colliding sidelink transmission from the at least one additional UE. The UE communicates, with the first UE, via the sidelink communication based on an allocation of resources for the sidelink transmission after the sidelink collision report.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for received signal quality dependent PDCCH monitoring adaptation are described. An apparatus is configured to receive, from a network node, multiple SSS group configurations, and receive an indication of a first SSS group configuration from the multiple SSS group configurations based on a first received signal quality of the UE. The apparatus is also configured to monitor first PDCCH candidates associated with the first SSS group configuration. Another apparatus is configured to configure, for a UE, multiple SSS group configurations, and provide an indication of a first SSS group configuration from the multiple SSS group configurations based on a first received signal quality of the UE. The apparatus is also configured to provide a PDCCH for the UE in at least one PDCCH candidate of the first SSS group configuration.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of a number of automatic gain control (AGC) symbols included in a sidelink slot structure for sidelink communication. The UE may receive a sidelink communication associated with a sidelink control information (SCI) field that indicates whether the number of AGC symbols are present within the sidelink communication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: An apparatus may be configured to receive an instruction indicating one of a machine-learning (ML) channel state information (CSI) feedback scheme associated with a first spectral efficiency or a non-ML CSI feedback scheme associated with a second spectral efficiency; and report the CSI feedback to a network node using the indicated one of the ML CSI feedback scheme or the non-ML CSI feedback scheme. Another apparatus may be configured to select one an ML CSI feedback scheme associated with a first spectral efficiency or a non-ML CSI feedback scheme associated with a second spectral efficiency; transmit, to the UE, an instruction indicating the selected one of the ML CSI feedback scheme or the non-ML CSI feedback scheme; and receive, from the UE, the CSI feedback that is associated with the selected one of the ML CSI feedback scheme or the non-ML CSI feedback scheme.
