Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for image signal processing that support efficient cache usage in an image processing system. In a first aspect, a method of image processing includes storing, by an image processor, a first portion of a first stripe of a first frame in a cache, the first portion of the first stripe overlapping a second portion of a second stripe of the first frame, reading, by the image processor, a third portion of the second stripe from a memory, reading, by the image processor, the first portion of the first stripe from the cache, and processing, by the image processor, the second stripe using the first portion of the first stripe and the third portion of the second stripe. Abstract: In general, techniques are described regarding selective allocation of processing resources for processing image data. Processing circuitry may warp a frame of image data around variously indicated areas of the frame to create a warped frame of image data. The processing circuitry may allocate more pixels to the indicated areas by virtue of the frame warping operation. The warped frame may then be output for further processing in accordance with proportions of the warped frame resulting in better image or video quality in the indicated areas.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for image signal processing that support high dynamic range (HDR) and other multi-frame image processing. In a first aspect, a method of image processing includes receiving first image data in a first format, the first image data comprising a first exposure of a scene; determining processed first image data by performing a single interpolation operation for de-mosaicing and warping the first image data, wherein the processed first image data is in a second format different from the first image data in the first format; and determining a corrected image frame based on the processed first image data and second image data comprising a second exposure of the scene.
