Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration of a set of resource elements for Long Term Evolution (LTE) cell-specific reference signal (LTE-CRS) interference measurements associated with one or more neighboring LTE cells. The UE may perform the LTE-CRS interference measurements on the set of resource elements. The UE may transmit, to the base station, an interference measurement indication based at least in part on the LTE-CRS interference measurements. Numerous other aspects are described.
