Abstract: The present invention discloses a container having a receiving base, which container consists of a base, a container body and a container cover, with the base being fixedly and tightly connected to the container body. The base consists of an external shell and a top cover, the edge of the external shell being tightly fitted to the edge of the top cover, the external shell and the top cover forming a receiving space of the base, and the receiving space being communicated with the container body through a hole in said top cover. The container body may be a conventional container wall, or may assume a collapsible container body. The container according to the present invention has a simple structure and is convenient for use. The container according to the present invention can be used widely. For example, it can be used to protect the articles put into it against moth and moisture. Also, it can be used to contain objects which produce liquid easily, or can be made into a litter bin and the like.
