Abstract: Process for the preparation of a latex, containing large particles, of a rubber polymer comprising a homopolymer or copolymer of a conjugated aliphatic diolefin. The process comprises polymerizing the diolefin in aqueous emulsion and introducing a polyalkyleneglycol in the course of polymerization when at least 40% by weight of polymer is formed. The latices produced can be used for the preparation of foams and for the synthesis of graft polymers.
