摘要: A liquid agent mist recovery device for a liquid agent application device prevents dripping of a droplet formed from a sucked liquid agent mist onto a sheet. The ink mist recovery device installed downstream of an inkjet head includes a recovery casing with an opening for introducing the mist. The opening is communicated with a recovery hole connected to a suction fun, and positioned apart from an upstream wall surface by a distance corresponding to receiving portions for receiving a droplet trickling from the wall surface, and apart from a downstream wall surface so that air introduced from downstream obstructs the flow of the upstream liquid agent mist for guiding into the recovery hole. The liquid agent mist from upstream is securely introduced and recovered. The liquid agent mist trickling from the wall surface of the recovery hole is received by the receiving portion rather than dripping onto the sheet.

摘要: An ink mist recovery device allows suction of ink mist with uniform suction force irrespective of a position on a confronting sheet. The ink mist recovery device includes a recovery casing having multiple suction ports confronting a sheet, and a suction unit connected to the recovery casing. At least one of a size of each of the suction ports and a first suction distance from each of the suction ports to a suction slit is set in accordance with a second suction distance from the suction unit to the suction slit via each of the suction ports so that the suction force is kept uniform at the respective positions on the sheet corresponding to the suction ports. The mist suction force is made uniform over the entire width of the suction slit to improve quality of the printed image without sucking ink droplets required to land.

摘要: An inkjet printer includes: at least one ink receptor having a tray shape with a bottom plate and an opening facing upward and being horizontally movable; and a suction unit. The at least one ink receptor is configured to receive ink ejected from at least one inkjet head as waste liquid. The suction unit includes at least one suction nozzle arranged above the bottom plate within a movable range of the at least one ink receptor and is configured to suction the ink in the at least one ink receptor through the opening with the at least one suction nozzle.

摘要: An inkjet printing apparatus includes: a print bar unit having a print bar, a maintainer, and a movement driver; and a controller. Upon maintenance of an inkjet head of the print bar, the controller is configured to drive the movement driver to move the maintainer from a deployment position to a retreat position with the print bar arranged at a maintenance position above a height position for printing while wiping a nozzle surface of the inkjet head with the wiper of the maintainer being moved. The deployment position is a position under the inkjet head in maintenance of the inkjet head and the retreat position is a position where the maintainer is retreated from the deployment position.
