[Also in Divisions F2 and H2] A control device (with a shaft 24, Fig. 3, for protrusion through a support, such as an instrument panel, to receive a knob) is contained in a housing 22 to which is clipped a cover 26, Fig. 10, by two opposed spring tongues 37 formed in side members 36 received in recesses 38, Fig. 7, in the sides of the housing 22. The tapered tongues 37 extend into deeper recesses 39 in the bases of the recesses 38 and their ends abut shoulders 40 at the ends of the deep recesses. The cover 26 and thus the housing 22 is held against the panel by the head of a bush 27, Fig. 3, which is placed over the shaft and is secured by a nut (see Division F2), at the other side of the panel.
