摘要: An explosive event may be produced by mixing reactive material and water to form a mixture. The reactive material may be mixed with a substantially stoichiometric amount of water needed for complete reaction of the water with the reactive material. After forming the mixture, the mixture may be detonated with opposing shock waves. Shock fronts of the opposing shock waves may coincide to form a mach front or mach stem, which may enhance the explosive effect.

摘要: A dart tail fin assembly includes a cylindrical dart body with a nose, a tail opposite the nose and an outer surface extending from the nose to the tail. A plurality of tail fins is attached to and spaced around the outer surface of the dart body. Each one of the tail fins includes a trailing edge aligned with the tail of the dart, a leading edge opposite the trailing edge toward the nose of the tail, a length from the trailing edge to the leading edge and a flat portion disposed at leading edge extending perpendicularly outward from the outer surface a first width. Each tail fin is detached from the outer surface of the dart body along a portion of the length extending back from the leading edge.

摘要: A dedicated U-turn signal light system for motor vehicles will be added. This is achieved by introducing a U-turn signal light in the form of a green arc (or an alternative color adhering to the national motor vehicle codes) capping the existing conventional turn signals and activated where a U-turn is allowed. The U-turn arc signal will flash in an animated fashion and simultaneously with the conventional turn signal. This will apply on each direction (left or right). A revised design of the signal lever will be made to accommodate for two additional U-turn positions served by adding two U-turn slots in the signal lever control box. An additional two electrical switches will confirm simultaneous flashing of the conventional turn and U-turn signals.

摘要: Compounded High Explosive Composites provide a novel family of low-cost explosives that exhibit anisotropic (directionally dependent, non-symmetric) sensitivity properties to replace current homogenous plastic bonded high explosives that are vulnerable to unwanted detonation from a variety of hazards and operating conditions. Anisotropic sensitivity behavior is largely achieved by manipulating the bulk property of critical diameter to fine-tune the compounded geometry of the explosive composite. As such, Compounded High Explosive Composites represent structural arrangements of small, spatially distributed, highly consolidated explosive units (pellets) arranged in a prescribed (but versatile) fashion in a motion and energy-dampening rubbery matrix. The compounded geometry and structural arrangement allows the explosive pellets to function cooperatively and detonate in an exemplary orientation, while ensuring the pellets do not cooperate in other directions to mitigate against known vulnerabilities and threats.
