Abstract: MAdCAM-1 polypeptides are provided. Accordingly there is provided a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence of MAdCAM-1 capable of binding alpha4beta7 integrin, wherein said polypeptide is in association with a therapeutic or a detectable moiety. Also provided are methods of treating and diagnosing inflammation mediated by MAdCAM-1.
