    摘要: Hand operated press for installing cable connectors basically includes two handle bars; a receptacle; and a nose, wherein each handle bar has a grip at its lower end and compression part at its upper end. The receptacle and the base are fixed to receptacle compression parts, and a terminator and an adapter are set on the receptacle and the base. When a compressive force is applied between two grips, both receptacle and base move inward simultaneously so as to engage the adapter and the terminator in one piece. Moreover, the receptacle and the base are replaceable with various sized ones to meet the requirement of compressing terminators of different sizes.

    摘要: A coaxial cable end connector for connecting a cable to a terminal has inner and outer spaced concentric sleeves, the outer sleeve provided with sealing rings which are formed out of the thickness of the outer sleeve along a crimping zone of the sleeve to minimize the crimping force required to crimp the outer sleeve by inward radial deformation into sealing engagement with the cable. Preferably, the wall thickness of at least a portion of the outer sleeve is reduced in order to further reduce the crimping force required to deform the sleeve into sealing engagement with the cable. In certain applications, an external annular seal is interposed between confronting surface portions of one of the inner and outer sleeves and a coupling member which makes up onto the terminal in sealing against moisture infiltration.

    摘要: An end connector for coaxial cable which is composed of a thimble, an outer sleeve, a grip nut and a taper jacket; wherein the thimble having a first flange and a first extension part. The outer sleeve is installed outside of the thimble and has a body and a second extension part, between the first extension part and the second extension part can form a cylindrical cavity, furthermore, the inner circumference of the second extension part having a plurality of engaging teeth for engaging the outer layer of a coaxial cable. The end of this end connector for coaxial cable is fitted with the grip nut in which having female treads for connecting with a receiver or a terminal station. The taper jacket is installed on the second extension part of the outer sleeve, this taper jacket having a taper hole formed therein. As the operator presses the taper jacket downwardly, the taper hole will press the outer sleeve to make the second extension part form a conical shape for firmly clamping a coaxial cable, such that, the end connector for coaxial cable can be made water tight.

    摘要: In a coaxial cable connector assembly, having a connector sleeve or retaining end of a coaxial cable and a coupling member between the sleeve and a terminal port to draw the sleeve into engagement with an end of the port, an internal locking device is made up of an annular groove formed along an internally threaded portion of the coupling member and a compressible washer which is pre-assembled in the groove, the coupling member having a male threaded end complementary to the internally threaded portion and washer so that when advanced through the internally threaded portion and washer will increase the torque loading between the coupling member and sleeve to resist accidental loosening or disengagement therebetween. The washer is an endless ring and formed in varying cross-sections for insertion into close-fitting engagement with the groove and may be utilized alone or in combination with seal and spring members at the interface between the male threaded end of the port and the internally threaded portion of the coupling member. In a modified form, an endless compressible liner is employed in place of the washer and groove to resist accidental loosening or disengagement between the post and coupling member.
