摘要： A product tagging system includes a tag tool having a housing and a tag tool needle that extends from the housing. The system includes a protective assembly that is mounted to the housing, a first retaining member adjacent the needle, and a second retaining member adjacent the first retaining member. The first retaining member includes a first aperture and the second retaining member includes a second aperture substantially aligned with the first aperture. The retaining members define a gap therebetween that is adjustable to receive at least a portion of a tag. The system further includes a protective member that is adjacent the second retaining member and includes a third aperture substantially aligned with the first and second apertures with a curved surface disposed around at least a portion of the third aperture. The first, second, and third apertures may receive at least a portion of the needle therethrough.

摘要： This invention relates to an apparatus and to a method designed to prevent hand and finger injuries resulting from inadvertent door closures. The apparatus for use with an existing door and door surround includes a door latching mechanism mountable to the door having a reversibly extendable bolt actuated by a turning member, a striker member mountable to the door surround wherein a portion of the striker member projects beyond the door surround, and when the bolt is extended, complete door closure is impeded by the projecting portion of the striker member with a gap width created between the leading edge of the door and the door surround sufficient to protect human hands and fingers from being crushed, injured, or amputated. When the bolt is intentionally retracted complete door closure is permitted. The apparatus is designed to be interchangeable with standard sized door knobs, latching mechanisms, lock assemblies, and striker plates.

The shelves are supported by pivotable clip members that are removably mounted to slots formed in the upright supports. The dividers include a riser portion that separates adjacent packaged merchandise and a glide portion over which the packaged merchandise slides. Multiple slope angles are obtainable by jacking at least one end of a shelf unit, repositioning the clip members, and lowering the shelf unit to reengage with the clip members.

The apparatus includes a hinge gap blocker for use with an existing door and door surround configured to continuously occlude a gap between the door jamb and the outer facing edge of a door hinge stile. The hinge stile gap blocking apparatus has a vaulted portion that is shaped to cover the exposed hinge barrels of a door. When installed, the hinge gap blocker covers exposed hinge barrels and continuously occludes the outside hinge gap between the door and door jamb when the door is pivoted.

The apparatus includes a pair of joined elongate members, each elongate member is joined to the other by an elastic band which extends through the opening of a door frame hinge stile gap with each joined elongate member residing on opposite sides of the hinge stile gap. The elongate members move when the door is pivoted, but are sufficiently tensioned against the hinge stile such that hands and fingers cannot be placed in the hinge stile gap when the door is open.

The apparatus includes a hinge gap cover for use with an existing door and door jamb and configured to continuously occlude a gap between the door jamb and the outer facing edge of a hinge stile of the door. The hinge stile gap blocking apparatus has a curved portion that is shaped such that the door edge tracks the curve when the door is pivoted between an open and a closed position and from the closed to the open position. A method of installing the hinge stile gap blocking apparatus is also disclosed.
