Abstract: An electronic device for a wristwatch including an electronic module provided with at least one sensor capable of measuring physiological data of a wearer of the wristwatch, and with an electronic control unit associated with the sensor. The electronic device includes a trim element acting as a case back and capable of being removably mounted on a case of the wristwatch, the electronic module being integrally housed within the trim element acting as case back. In one aspect, a wristwatch includes a case having a removable case back and a horological movement housed within the case, with the removable case back constituting the electronic device.
