摘要： An automated banking machine includes a top housing cover slidably mounted with respect to a top wall of the housing of a chest or secure enclosure. The top housing cover includes side channels for slidably receiving spaced upwardly extending flanges mounted on the chest housing. Various upper banking machine components are mounted in supporting connection with the chest housing about the secure enclosure. The components may include a display, a card reader, a receipt printer, a communications device, and a keypad. In an operable condition, the top housing cover is positioned so that a front opening therein is covered by an upper fascia. Removal of one or more fasteners allows the top housing cover to be moved rearwardly to expose the banking machine components for maintenance, replacement or other servicing activity.

摘要： Method for accessing and servicing banking machine components of an automated banking machine. The automated banking machine includes a processor case rotatably mounted on the machine housing. The processor case houses and supports various circuit cards and processor related components. A movable mounting tray supported on the chest housing, supports various banking machine components which may include a display, a card reader, a receipt printer, and input keys. When the automated banking machine is in an operable condition, the processor case and the mounting tray are housed in an interior area defined by a top housing. To access and service the banking machine components, the movable tray may be extended outwardly from a front opening in the top housing and the processor case may be rotated from an operational position to a service position.

摘要： An automated banking machine includes a lower fascia covering the door of the chest or secure enclosure. The lower fascia is movably mounted in supporting connection to the chest housing to permit access to the chest door. An inwardly extending flange supported on the lower fascia engages the chest door when the lower fascia is in an accessible position and the chest door is open. The chest door is thus retained in an open condition for access to the secure area for restocking a currency dispensing mechanism or servicing ATM components.

AN operable chest door controls access through one of the openings in the chest housing by operation of a locking bolt mechanism. The other opening in the chest housing is semi-permanently closed by a second chest door by operation fo an alternate securing mechanism.

摘要： An automated banking machine includes a top housing supported on the housing of a chest. A rearwardly extending projection of an upper fascia selectively overlays a forward region of the top housing adjacent the front opening. A lower fascia is selectively movable between a covering position where the lower fascia covers the front of the chest, and an accessible position where the front of the chest is accessible. The lower fascia includes first and second side extensions. When the lower fascia is in the covering position, the side extensions overlay forward side portions of the chest housing. The lower fascia may be adapted to engage the open chest door during servicing operations. The automated banking machine may include a rollout tray supporting upper banking machine components, a rotatable processor case, and/or a slidable top housing cover to permit access to banking components for installation or servicing.

The ATM includes a top housing cover having a forward region and an upper fascia having a rearwardly extending portion that selectively overlays the forward region. The ATM includes a lower fascia having first and second side extensions that selectively overlay first and second forward regions of a safe or secure enclosure. The ATM may include a pivotal processor case for ease of installation and/or servicing of banking components. The safe housing may include dual openings for use in either a front-load or rear-load ATM. Banking machine components such as displays, card readers, receipt printers, and keypads may be installed or serviced by extending a rollout mounting tray or by rearwardly sliding the top housing.

When the banking machine is in an operable condition, the processor case and the mounting tray may be housed in an interior area defined by a top housing. To access and service the banking machine components, the movable tray may be extended outwardly from a front opening in the top housing and the processor case may be rotated from an operational position to a service position.
