摘要: Isolated salts of acetaminophen are disclosed. Alkali metal and alkaline-earth metal salts of acetaminophen were formed by reacting the free acid of acetaminophen with the corresponding metal hydroxide and then immediately isolating the resulting salt. These salts have been found to be more water soluble and less bitter in taste than the free acid form of acetaminophen. The isolated salts may also be combined with other active ingredients.
