摘要： A panel for accepting a switch is disclosed, the panel having a generally rigid member with a front side and a back side. The generally rigid member also has a first edge and a second edge defining an aperture, through which the switch passes at least partially through. The back side of the rigid member has a first rib that extends therefrom, the first rib being proximate to the first edge and having a step that is operable to engage a barb of the switch that passes at least partially through the aperture. The back side also has a second rib that extends therefrom, the second rib being proximate to the second edge and also operable to engage a barb of the switch passing at least partially through the aperture.

摘要： Disclosed is a housing with a coin holder for use in a motor vehicle, the housing having a coin holder with a generally vertically aligned coin slot. The coin slot has an arcuate back wall that adjoins a generally planar first side wall to an oppositely disposed and spaced apart generally planar second side wall. The first side wall, the second side wall and the arcuate back wall define a chamber that is dimensioned such that a coin can slide in a generally vertical direction therein. The coin slot also has a throat adjacent to the chamber, the throat having a first flange that extends from the first side wall and a second flange that extends from the second side wall. The first and second flanges define boundaries to a side opening to the chamber, the opening dimensioned such that the coin is retained in the chamber when the coin is aligned in a generally non-vertical orientation. In some instances, the coin slot is D-shaped when viewed from a top direction and can have a bottom surface that is inclined at an acute angle relative to a horizontal plane. The coin slot can also have a cover panel that prevents coins from exiting or bouncing out of and/or exiting a top opening of the D-shaped coin slot when the motor vehicle travels over rough terrain. In other instances, a storage bin can be adjacent to the coin holder and the storage bin and the coin holder can be part of a functional unit that slides or pivots into and out of an instrument panel of the motor vehicle.

摘要： A knee airbag housing assembly including a cover panel, a box case, and a lower panel. The cover panel has an upper support portion and a lower support portion extending transversely from a cantilevered support portion. A tear seam formed between the upper cover and lower cover portion. A lower support portion extends transversely from a cantilevered support on the lower cover portion of said cover panel. The box case supports an airbag module and has a lower wall with a distal end lower wall extending towards the cover panel. The box case is fitted in the space between the upper support and lower support portions such that the distal end lower wall of the box spring is disposed closer to the cantilevered support than the terminal edge of the lower panel.
