    摘要: Provided herein are techniques related to an industrial system that may have a plurality of industrial automation devices, a database that has a plurality of location datasets that correspond to the plurality of industrial automation devices, and a monitoring system that may communicate with the industrial automation devices via a network and the database. The monitoring system may send a first request to the industrial automation devices in the industrial system to identify an industrial automation device having an active maintenance status. The active maintenance status may be indicative of a maintenance request for the industrial automation device. The monitoring system may send a second request to the database for a location dataset associated with the industrial automation device, generate a visualization that includes the active maintenance status and the location dataset associated with the industrial automation device, and display the visualization via an electronic display.

    摘要: An industrial controller within an industrial automation environment is provided. The industrial controller includes a programming logic controller, configured to control an industrial device, and a predictive module, coupled with the programming logic controller. The predictive module is configured to receive configuration data from the programming logic controller, create a user-defined controller tag, and transfer the user-defined controller tag to the programming logic controller. The predictive module is also configured to receive operational data from the programming logic controller, and calculate operation monitoring data and value estimation data based on the operational data. The predictive module is further configured to write the operation monitoring data and value estimation data to the user-defined controller tag.

    摘要: A multi-platform industrial search system facilitates indexing and searching of plant-wide data residing on multiple different data platforms. The industrial search system automatically inventories industrial devices and other data sources located throughout a plant, and identifies available data items on each data source. The search system indexes the discovered data items in a federated data model that can subsequently be searched to locate data items or tags of interest. The federated data model records references to data items found on different types of data sources, including but not limited to industrial controller programs, human-machine interface applications, data historians, device documentation stores, inventory tracking systems, and other such data sources. The search system can also initiate automated searches of the federated data model in response to detected performance issues and deliver notifications and contextual information to plant personnel.
