    摘要: An indirect firing fastener driving tool is provided including a barrel (51), a piston (6) sliding in the barrel for driving a fastener (3) housed in a fastener guide (7). Between the barrel (51) and the fastener guide (7) are disposed a rigid ring (22) and a resilient ring (24). Inside the resilient ring (24) is disposed a rigid ring (27) for limiting the stroke of the ring (22) intended to be received in a recess (25) provided at the rear part of the fastener guide (7). The head (14) of the piston is of a truncated cone shape and may cooperate with a bore (23) of corresponding shape in the rigid ring (22). The rings serve as absorber for the piston (6) whose stroke is thus controlled.

    摘要: A fastening apparatus with an improved ejector, is provided with a barrel (3) having a narrowed rear portion (15) upon which an ejection ring (5) may slide. The ring (5) includes two grooves (12, 12') for receiving a clip (22) cooperating with two milled portions (17, 18) of the barrel. The milled portions comprise a front land and a rear land separated by a rearwardly inclined ramp (19) for holding the ring (5), interlocked for translation with the barrel (3), in position until it comes into abuttment against a pawl (30) for retaining an inertia block (4), upon an opening of the apparatus, for proper ejection of a charge case (10).

    摘要: An electrical contact for stripless cable connections comprising a front contacting part and a rear channel-shaped part of U-shaped cross-section. A fork is cut off from the base of a channel-shaped rear part of the contact and bent upwardly at right angles between the lateral walls of the channel. The branches of the fork define insulation severing, core penetrating jaws. The lateral walls of the channel prevent spreading of the jaws when a cable is forced therebetween to be electrically connected to the contact. A rearwardly extending contact retention tongue is also formed in the base where the fork is cut therefrom and is bent outwardly for engagement with a shoulder in an insulator in which the contact is mounted.
